Learner Driver Insurance

With our Learner Driver Car Insurance we can insure learners without risking the car owner’s No Claims Bonus. It provides the chance to learn to drive using a family or friend’s car for 30, 60 or 90 days, fully insured. Our Learner Driver Insurance will cover vehicles up to insurance group 32 with a present-day value of up to £30,000. The car must have primary insurance in the owner’s name and will not cover a car owned by the learner driver.

It is important to note that this policy would no longer insure the driver once they have passed their test, so you wouldn’t be insured to drive home after you pass you test. It is advised that new driver insurance is ready to be put into place once your driving test has been passed. You will be able to get a quote before your test, take down the reference number and then call back to accept the new driver insurance once you have passed your test.

Are you a parent who wants to help your son or daughter to learn to drive but don’t to include them on your own car insurance policy?

This could be due to the fact that you’ve had a price from your existing insurer and it was too high or your child is simply new to driving and you’d rather not take the risk of losing your own No Claim Discount that you’ve built up. Our learner driver car insurance provides comprehensive cover against fire, theft, accidents, malicious damage and damage to other people’s property. Call 0333 323 1322 today to get a quote in minutes or click here to get an instant online quote.
