Well if that’s your plan for the year then you’ll be off to a good start because there’s plenty going on in the world of motorcycling this month. Let us take you through all the best events that are just around the corner…diaries at the ready!
Event: Rufforth Auto Jumble
When? Saturday 7th January
Where? Rufforth Park, Wetherby Road, Rufforth, Yorkshire, YO23 3QF
What’s on?
This is one of the North’s largest auto jumbles which offers a good range of motorcycle spares and parts as well as vintage car spares and new and used tools. Stalls are located both in and outdoors and hot refreshments are available on site.

Sellers 6am – 9am

Event: Motorcycle Trade Expo
When? Sunday 15th – Tuesday 17th January
Where? Stoneleigh Park Exhibition Centre, Coventry, Warwickshire, CV8 2LZ
What’s on?
Members of the motorcycle trade industry gather from far and wide to this three day event. If you’re in the industry then it’s likely you’ll be there, as this is one of the UK’s largest motorcycle trade shows. There’s still time to purchase your ticket online, alternately you can pay at the door.
The Devitt team will be exhibiting at this popular event, so if you’re planning on heading there then don’t forget to pop over to the stand for a chat and a free cup of coffee!

Event: Kempton Bike Jumble

What’s on?
This motorcycle jumble has many stalls and trade stands, plus a motorcycle mart where, for a fee, owners can exhibit their machines and restoration projects for sale. Refreshments will be available on the site and parking is free.

Event: Unwanted MCC’s 17th Year Birthday Party
When? Saturday 21st January

What’s on?
Why not help the Unwanted MCC celebrate their 17th Birthday and join them at their annual party! Sure to be a lively one this party promises live band – Hallowpoint, Booze Brothers Disco, a raffle, food and free camping!

Event: Springfields Motorbike Show

What’s on?
There will be motorbike displays, trade stands, general stalls and club stands. And Sunday is sure to be a busy one as famous rider Ian Hutchinson will be a guest of honour!

Event: The Adventure Travel Show 21st Anniversary

This is the UK’s only event dedicated to travel experiences off the beaten track. Event: Vintage Motoring Film Evening

What’s on?
The bar opens at 6pm, dinner starts at 7pm and is followed by vintage motoring film screenings until 10pm. Check the Brooklands Museum website for film listings.

Event: Normous Newark Autojumble
When? Sunday 29th January
Where? Newark Showground, Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire, England, NG24 2NY
What’s on?
This autojumble caters to both classic motorcycles and cars. The trade stalls are situated both inside and outside. There is also a large display of classic cars and motorcycles. Parking is free. This is a Mortons Media event.
Opening times: From 10am. For an extra fee, you can enter the jumble earlier between 8am and 9am.

Children under 12 go free
‘Early-bird’ entry fee (8am – 9am) is £10. There are discounts for drivers/passengers/pillions of classic/interesting vehicles.
