Kawasaki Z250SL Bike Overview
If you’re a rider who doesn’t want a heavy, top-heavy motorbike because you’re a beginner, you will want to take a look at the Kawasaki Z250SL. This little bike is big on reliability, stability and handling and, on top of all that, it is a bike with a lot of gusto. It is a bike that is guaranteed to make you smile and it will instantly become a beloved possession.
This super lightweight bike is only 147kg and so it is perfect for smaller riders who want a smooth ride and a bike that handles extremely well. Riding through town has never been better with wide bars giving you complete ease to dodge in and out of traffic.
The Z250SL is so light that simple movements from your bodyweight leans the bike into corners and makes the turns tighter and sleeker. Kawasaki have thought of everything to give new riders the ultimate experience; they have installed a 37mm fork and a preload shock that is adjustable which allows the bike to ride over lumps and bumps in the road with ease. This is coupled with the braking system and firm suspension that are firm but not firm enough to make the bike scare beginner riders.
At £3649, the Z250SL rides and feels of a much higher quality than the price would lead you to believe. The displays are very well made, the switchgear is sturdy and the chassis enables a strong, straight ride wherever you go which is amazing for the price.

Well to kick this of the Z250SL rides extremely well the 28BhP 250cc single Cylinder engine is very smooth! The bike is a 6 speed & has a lot of torque down low. The bike has a top speed of about 99mph down hill with a tail wind haha honestly the top speed does not really matter with this bike. You have enough power to overtake and you will have no problem keeping up! This bike is Super Light & is amazing around the corners I live in Cornwall and not meaning to boast or anything but we have some damm good roads with some fonaminal corners. You will have no issues and you will take those corners with confidence ( Just make sure you have Bridgestone, pirreli tires)
The bike has a 249cc engine it's a single Cylinder and boasts a power output of 28BhP The Z250SL will keep the smile of your face no matter where your riding With loads a low down torque & and a 0-60 of 7.8 seconds who am I to complain! I the top speed is about 98 mph so more than adequate No bucket loads of power but a good solid riding experience
On only criticism has to be accessing the bikes Battery you will have to take the 2 side panel if wear your legs rest near the tank part of the rear plastics also try and unclip and un bolt the loads! If you ever need to get the battery be prepared for a mission The manufacturer could of designing a simple lever under the pillion seat.
Well I think I'm in the right position to give averyone some sound knowledge on this subject I have had the bike for just about a year and have covered 14000 miles I commute 200 miles a week to work And I have to say as long as you look after the bike and keep on top of scheduled maintenance this big is relentless and will no let you down it's a true work horse and a bucket loads of fun
The Z250SL features a single disk brake front and back the brakes have an excellnt stoping power How ever if you are going to buy this bike I advise you want a greater stopping power change the brake pads to a reputable brand like Brembro etc
