Biker Events in September

So, what’s happening for us bikers this September? Well, quite a lot actually! We really are spoilt for choice this month, from ride outs to festivals, charity events to classic bike shows.

If you’re looking to fill your event calender then look no further, we’ve rounded up some of the best events across the country in one place…do you have any to add?

 

The 2 Stroke Rally

Date: 4th – 6th September 

Location: Squires Cafe Newthorpe

Event: The 2 Stroke Rally

Take your pick from the Saturday ride-out to Seaways Cafe in Fridaythorpe or the Sunday ride-out to North Yorkshire, or better still, why not do both…there’s camping facilities!!

They really have thought of everything with this rally. Pitch up your tent on Saturday night and chill out (or have a dance) to the music bought to you by the DJ! There’ll also be a prize for the best bike, a licensed bar and hot food…if you’re in the area you wont want to miss it!

 

Smaaash Fest V

Date: 4th – 6th September 

Location: Rue du Val, St. Saviours, Guernsey, Channel Islands, Guernsey

Event: Smaaash Fest V

Organised by Sarnians Motorcycle Club, this event is in its 5th year , so the guys know exactly what they’re doing! There’ll be live bands, home brewed ales and fantastic views of Guernsey…so if you’re in the area, this one’s a must!

Tickets: Donation to charity upon entry

 

Llandudno Goldwing Light Parade

Date: 5th September

Location: Lifeboat Ramp, Llandudno Promenade, North Wales

Event: Llandudno Goldwing Light Parade

Watch in awe as a wide array of impressive illuminated Goldwings parade along the Llandudno Promenade! See this spectacular display on the proms from 7:30pm.

Tickets: £3.50 per bike

 

Essex Air Ambulance Motorcycle Run

Date: 6th September

Location:  Harwich Green , Harwich

Event: Essex Air Ambulance Motorcycle Run

We’ll be there, will you!?
For the second year running, Devitt will be heading to Harwich to join thousands of bikers for this popular charity event which helps to raise vital funds for Essex Air Ambulance.

The bikers will be waved off at 11am to follow a police-approved route which will see them finishing at Harwich Green where they will be welcomed by a live band, rides, food stools, trade stands and much more! This one’s a great family day out…we’ll see you there!

 

The Base Bikers Ride Out

Date: 6th September

Location: The Base, Cecil Road, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 2TJ, Norwich

Event: The Base Bikers Ride Out

Why not head up to the A140 from Needham Lakes, Suffolk with the Base Bikers for this charity ride out. Once you reach your destination they’ll be tea, coffee and even a BBQ! All bikers from all regions are welcome so this is the perfect excuse to get out and meet like minded bikers, what more could you want from a Sunday afternoon!?

 

Wobbly Wolf Rally

Date: 11th – 13th September

Location: Duke William, 91 Church Street, Derbyshire, DE4 3BZ

Event: Wobbly Wolf Rally

This event has it all going on, a Saturday ride out, awards, games, food vans, trade stands, live bands and even a disco!
Running the course of the weekend there is camping available, or just turn up on any day and be guaranteed to have great fun with your friends and family!

Tickets: £12 in advance, £15 on the gate

 

Romney Marsh Classic Jumble

Date: 20th September

Location: Hamstreet, Near Ashford, Kent, TN26 2JD

Event: Romney Marsh Classic Jumble

Come rain or shine this jumble is sure to be a hit! Search amongst the vast array of treasures and collectable items at this popular and impressive bike jumble.
Need a new part, fancy getting an enamel sign for your garage or maybe you want to add to your petrol can collection? You’re bound to find whatever it is your looking for at this jumble!

Tickets: £4 on the gate

 

Rock Diabetes Fire and Forge Fest

Date: 26th September

Location: Trowbridge Civic Centre, Wiltshire, BA14 8AH

Event: Rock Diabetes Fire and Forge Fest

Sleepy Trowbridge will certainly not be sleeping on the 26th September! With 2 stages, 20 bands and over 12 hours of music this festival really is the perfect event for any rock and metal fan.

Doors open from 11:30am and live music will be played from 12pm until midnight.

Tickets: £10
