This bike is Husqvarna’s first offering to the street bike market. You’ll find this model more accessible than previous models, like the KTM 690 SMC R, as work has been made to the engine, suspension and bodywork to make this bike an overall more thrilling yet comfortable ride. Husqvarna say that they have softened the suspension on this bike, made the throttle a little easier to predict, and overall made it a better bike to ride and handle.
This bike is very capable off-road, giving a smooth ride from its torquey 690cc single-cylinder motor engine. You’ll find three fuel maps, soft, standard and advanced. The chassis is lightweight, making it feel like you are propelled forward quickly and with relative ease.
You’ll also get some nice finishing touches with this bike. It’s quite well thought out, with LED lights and smart branding. There’s a slipper clutch, supermoto & enduro ABS and an endo sensor. Extras include a taller screen and a 20 litre tank which will give you about 250 miles.
You’ll be able to buy this bike for around £8000, which isn’t one of the cheapest ones on the market but it does you well for the price. This bike could be considered an adventure bike and one that many bikers would consider a total big boy’s toy – and we don’t disagree!
