Yamaha TDM900 Bike Overview
Replacing the TDM800, the Yamaha TDM900 was launched in 2001 with a new look including aluminium frame and swing arm, and let’s not forget to mention a brand new 900cc displacement which was much needed for this streetbike.
Although it’s been almost 20 years since the TDM900 was released, it’s still a popular bike today. It’s reliability plays a massive factor in this, although it might not be kitted out with all fancy accessories like a newer bike of today the TDM900 still holds it value and makes for a great investment.
Often praised as a great all-rounder, that’s cheap to run and maintain – it’s the perfect bike for your daily commute to taking two-up or your lazy Sunday afternoon ride out, Yamaha’s TDM900 literally ticks all the boxes.

Pros
Comfy, economical, powerful, great all rounder.
Cons
Not really a con, but would be nice to have a bigger engine. 1200cc would be absolutely perfect

It's built to last. Bulletproof engine. Never had any problems.
Awesome grip. Uses Yamaha R1 brakes and it's stops immediately.
It's light, smooth and powerful. Going trough a bend it's an absolute pleasure.
It's powerful enough. And really torque. Great fun.
It's very economical. 200 miles on the tank easily. And it's only 20l tank.
