Naked Motorbike Insurance

Naked-motorcycles-in-a-row

Naked Bikes are popular in the UK and often defined by the fact that they have no windscreen, (usually) an upright seating position and no plastic body panels (fairings) so they’re in a sense ‘naked’.

Naked motorcycles are a type of custom bike and sit around the same category as ‘street-fighters’ ‘choppers’ and ‘café-racers’. If you’ve been a biker for some time, you might refer to them as ‘Bobbers’ which were meant to have originated back in the 1940s; when ex-military motorbikes were stripped back to reduce weight and cost by mechanically minded returning servicemen.

It’s important to make sure your Naked motorcycle is suitably insured, we’ve been motorcycle insurance specialists for over 90 years so you’re in safe hands with Devitt. All you need to do is complete a quote online, or you can give one of our friendly agents a call on 0345 872 3614 who can give you a quote and answer any questions you might have.

Whichever route you take, you’ll need to provide us with some information about yourself such as your full name, date of birth, address and occupation. We’ll also need to know about any claims and convictions you might have, as well as the type of security and storage for your Naked bike.

You can choose your desired level cover from third party only, third party fire and theft or comprehensive. And you can further enhance your policy with our range of additional extras such as Personal Accident (PA) and PA with Helmet and Leathers cover too, but don’t forget these will incur further cost. You can find out more about our packages here, which look to help save you money on optional extras.
