It’s important to make sure your motorcycle is suitably insured especially when it’s a classic machine like a Bimota. All you need to do is complete a quote online, or you can give one of our friendly agents a call on 0345 872 3614 who can give you a quote, and answer any questions you might have.

Whichever route you take, you’ll need to provide us with some information about yourself such as your full name, date of birth, address and occupation. We’ll also need to know about any claims and convictions you might have, as well as the type of security and storage for your Bimota.

You can choose your desired level cover from third party only, third party fire and theft or comprehensive. More information about Bimota

The small Italian manufacturer, Bimota, were founded first in 1973 by Valerio Bianchi, Giuseppe Morri and Massimo Tamburini. The company took inspiration for the name by using the first two letters of the each of the three founders’ surname and that’s how the name ‘Bimota’ was born.

Bimota spent a lot of time investing in the world of motorcycle racing creating engines and designs of various manufacturers including Yamaha, Ducati, Suzuki, Honda and Kawasaki.

The first bike to be born under the Bimota name was the HB1 in 1975.

Tamburini focused his time on this masterpiece after he was involved in an accident riding a Honda 750 Four at the Misano circuit. Suffering broken ribs from the heavy weight of the machine, Tamburini set to creating a lighter version kit but only 10 units were ever made.

Notable bikes produced by Bimota include the KB2 550, DB1 and the YB8 Furana 1000.

In 2019, Bimota partnered with Kawaski and started working on the 2020 Bimota Tesi H2. This partnership reinvigorated the brand and continues to launch new bikes including the café racer-style KB4 and KB4 RC, the BX450 and the 2025 KB998 Rimini.
