Everything you need to know about the MCN Festival of Motorcycling
Every May, the MCN team takeover the East of England Showground for a weekend of motorcycling madness. MCN launched the Festival a few years ago and it was an instant hit with bikers, the weekend usually promises good weather so there’s the option to make the most of it and camp out for the three day event.
Once you’ve pitched up your tent on Friday night, you can head over to the main arena for live music and a couple of drinks at the pop-up bars with your pals – but don’t stay up too late as you’ll want to be first in line on Saturday morning to sign on for a test ride of some of the latest machines including Ducati, Yamaha and BMW.
Around the event, you’ll find lots of trade stands and manufacturers to take a walk round and find yourself a bargain. As well as that there’s live entertainment throughout the day including stunt shows by the Arenacross team, the Wall of Death and live music.
You won’t want to miss out on the flat track racing set up in the middle of the show; it’s free to watch with numerous rounds throughout the day. If you choose to camp, there’s usually another race on during Saturday evening too!
Don’t worry about being hungry; you’ve got plenty of choice when it comes to food including Chinese, Pizza, hot dogs and loads more!
