Durlston Castle Cafe
One of the swankiest biker cafes to be found in England, the cafe at The Durlston Castle is a very popular haunt for bikers who visit the area. While it is indeed in stark contrast of what to expect from a biker cafe, the self-service cafe in this stunning seaside castle can seat up to a 100 guests at a time.
What makes it really attractive to visitors, especially bikers, is its massive car park besides its fresh and wholesome menu. It also houses a cool a-la-carte restaurant and offers the finest of fresh produce and seafood to be found in the area. And all of it is very affordably priced, too. The menu keeps changing so you will have to check the daily specials board. While here, do not miss its delectable rack of lamb served with port and red currant sauce.
The view from the Durlston Castle Cafe
On weekends you will see a large number of bikers who travel here despite the fact that they do not serve an all-day breakfast. It definitely is far trendier than a regular bikers’ cafe and has its own unique charm that attracts regular visitors.
The cafe is also a popular haunt for rock climbers, who visit the area to climb in the rugged countryside. With fabulous views of the sea, a beautiful garden and the pleasant atmosphere, make it a place not to miss on your next biking trip to the Dorset area.

One comment on “Durlston Castle Cafe”
What? Durlston Castle a biker cafe? Not a chance – I doubt there has ever been a bike meet up there – not that it wouldn’t be a good place, but the car park is horrendously expensive and you would never get a seat in the cafe due to the number of elderly visitors.
