Triumph Trophy 1200 Bike Overview
Fitted with 1180cc, four cylinder engine with 108bhp, you’re able to control and ride the beefy 237kg machine. There’s no worries of getting lost in twisties, the Trophy 1200 can keep up with the rest. Reaching top speeds of 135mph, that’s fully kitted out with passenger and luggage too, it’s hard to find fault with the Triumph Trophy 1200.
It’s no surprise Triumph have been successfully selling the Trophy range for over 20 years now, releasing updated models every few years. The first Trophy 1200 was launched in 1991, and the most recent version was in 2012.

Just read the reviews.
It is a Triumph. The means over engineered.
Excellent, in both areas.
It is very top heavy, but surprisingly manoeuvrable, for its size and weight.
1200cc. It will cruse a 70mph all day, without going over 4000rpm.
Less than £400 per year, including TAX and insurance.
More than adequate
Probably a bit thirstier than the later injected models
Looks a better finish than later ones
Plenty good enough for my mode of travel
