Situated in on the Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border, there are a lot of open roads around the Silver Ball meaning it’s a great meeting place before/after a ride. You’ll find an impressive menu at Silver Ball with all the food being home cooked and made fresh to order.
Inside you’ll also find a large TV keeping you up-to-date with the sporting highlights, and also showering facilities on site.
Sunday mornings are the most popular times to meet up for bikers during the summer months, especially with the large car park out the front of the café and plenty of outdoor seating too. Open 7 days a week from 6.30am until late, there’s always time for a trip to Silver Ball Transports Café.

Classic transport cafe that serves great grub. Reasonable prices & friendly service – clean & basic, it’s on the A10 between Buntingford & Royston. Well worth a visit just to see the selection of bikes that turn up.
