Third Party Only motorbike insurance is the most basic cover any insurer will be able to offer by law, and typically it will provide you with a lower premium. You will need to decide if a lower level of cover is what you’re looking for. New or less experienced riders may be tempted by a lower premium but an attractive price might not provide the level of cover you may need – we recommend considering your options carefully.
Third Party Only cover means that if you’re in involved in an accident the policy will only pay out for the costs and damages incurred by the other person involved i.e. the third party.
There’s no cover in place for any expenses or losses you may incur as a result of an incident or accident. If the accident wasn’t your fault, you’ll have to go through the processes of proving the third party was at fault and then claim back your losses from their insurance.
