With a home insurance claim you will often have to fill out a claim form and return it within a certain time frame. You’ll also have to provide proof of purchase for items that you’re claiming for, however if you can’t find receipts you could prove purchases by referring to your debit / credit card statements, you can request these from your bank for specific months.
