Grindleford Station Cafe
As you can guess by the name, this café is located nearby to Grindleford railway station, in the heart of the Peak District. The oldy worldy style of the café makes it a landmark for the Peak District and a popular location for all.
For bikers it’s the perfect sized café with a car park right outside, big enough for bikes but not for cars; walkers are often visit the café too due to the location and stunning surroundings.
You may find it odd when you first enter the café as the walls are littered with paper signs with different rules for the café including ‘one paper napkin per person’ to ‘don’t ask for mushrooms as we don’t sell them’. However it’s all worth it for this quirky café with its true old-fashioned British stylings inside.
You’ll find that the café gets very busy over the weekends and bank holidays due to its popular location but you can’t fault the food or the service as every meal is served with extra special care.
