Scottish Classic Motorcycle Club
Founded in 9167, the Scottish Classic Motorcycle Club began in just the Strathtay and Fife area however due to its great success, it was soon branched out to East Central Scotland then onto all of Scotland.
If you’re a lover of classic bikes then the SCMCC could be the club for you. It’s all about making sure those classic bikes stay on the road, not hidden away in a garage somewhere. The club define classic as a bike that is over 15 years old, however if you do turn up on a more modern bike then you won’t be turned away.
The Scottish Classic Motorcycle Club membership costs £15 and it also gives you a subscription to ‘The Banter’, the clubs monthly email newsletter.
The club holds three annual events which are Spring and Autumn gatherings and a Summer Run. The Scotia Challenge is open to members only, it involves riding through checkpoints across the country with the aim of gaining the Gold Awards. All the information about the clubs events can be found on the website .
