We’re proud to be celebrating 90 years of service
Our 90 year journey has seen many changes at Devitt. Take a look at our history to discover more about how it all started back in 1936!
We also caught up with some of our longest serving employees to find out more about the changes they’ve witnessed over the years and why they are still as passionate as ever about supporting our customers.
Terms and Conditions – [Devitt 90 Year Giveaway] (the “Event”)
- Promoter’s name and address: Devitt is a trading name of Devitt Insurance Services Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Registered Office: The Walbrook Building, 25 Walbrook, London, EC4N 8AW. Registered in England and Wales. Company Number: 02438974. (the “Promoter”).
2. Prize: The following prizes are available to be won during the Event:
a) Honda GB350S Pearl Deep Mud Grey (the “Prize A“)
b) Made to measure suit in textile or leather – designed and made with Hideout Leather (the “Prize B”)
c) Leather motorbike jacket – from choice at Hideout Leather (the “Prize C”)
3. Promotion Period: This Promotion is open during the Event from 12:00am on 05/06/2026 to 11:59pm on 31/10/2026.
4. How to Participate:
a) In order to enter the prize draw, you must get a motorbike insurance quote from Devitt between the competition open dates.
Quotes can be acquired on the website via our online service or by telephone with an agent. All quotes given during the qualifying months will be entered into a prize draw.
If you get a more than one quote, only one entry will be permitted into the prize draw. For example, if you get 20 quotes, you will only be entered once.
b) The prize draw will take place on 02/11/2026 and the winners will be selected at random by a random number generator (https://www.random.org/).
c) The first three numbers to be selected at random will win the Prize/s. The prizes will be drawn in order: Prize C – Leather Motorbike Jacket, Prize B – Made to measure Suit, Prize A – Honda Motorcycle.
5) Eligibility Terms:
a) In order to participate in this prize draw: you must be:
(i)hold a Full UK Motorcycle License
(ii) a resident of the United Kingdom; and
(iii) over the age of 21.
b) Employees of the Promoter or any other company within the Promoter’s group of companies, their immediate family members and anyone who is connected with the administration of this prize draw are excluded from participating in this prize draw.
c) Only one entry per person.
6. General Terms:
a)Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry.
b) The Prize is not transferable, refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
c) Entries received outside of the Promotion Period will not be considered.
d) Only one Prize can be won.
e) The Promoter shall not be responsible or liable for any issues or defects with the Prizes.
f) This prize draw is not available in conjunction with any other offer.
g) In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to: (a) substitute the Prize with an item of an equivalent or greater value; or (b) in exceptional circumstances, amend or close the prize draw without notice. The Promoter will not engage in any correspondence with any participant regarding any decision that it makes in connection with the operation of this prize draw.
h) The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
i) Sale or exchange of the Prize is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to sell, transfer or exchange the Prize will result in the Prize being withdrawn by the Promoter and the Prize will be declared null and void.
7. Notification and Announcement of Winners: The winners will be notified by email. They will also be given instructions for claiming the Prizes. The Promoter is required to publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will provide the surname and county of the winners to anyone who sends an email to marketing@devittinsurance.com within one month of the prize draw taking place. If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter by sending an email to marketing@devittinsurance.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter will still be required to provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
8) Privacy and Personal Data: In order to participate in this Promotion you will need to provide the Promoter with your personal data. For information on how the Promoter will use your personal data and how you may exercise your rights in respect of that information, please refer to the Promoter’s privacy notice at https://www.devittinsurance.com/privacy-policy. If you are providing the Promoter with the personal data of another individual, you must tell them you are providing this to the Promoter and show them a copy of this notice.
9) Marketing:
a) The Promoter may process your personal data for marketing purposes with your consent, based on a legitimate business interest, or as otherwise permitted by law. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting the Promoter at marketing@devittinsurance.com.
b) You agree to provide an image of yourself with the prize for Devitt Insurance promotional purposes and agree that the image can be used indefinitely on marketing materials. You can withdraw your consent at any time. You will only be identified by your first name and general location – eg John from Birmingham.
10) Law and Jurisdiction: This prize draw and its terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes arising out of it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
