Published: May 18, 2016

What a weekend we had at the MCN Festival of Motorcycling; with the show only being in it’s second year it was jam-packed full of live stunt shows, races and a wealthy of stalls for you to browse.

We were lucky enough to pitch up our stand and enjoy the weekend’s entertainment, and even a little bit of sunshine on Sunday.

Guess the miles of the tyre

Did you enter our competition over the weekend? Well it’s finally time to find out the answer!

For those of you who weren’t able to enter, we’ll give you some information:

Guess the miles of Ivan Lintin’s tyre, used at Oliver’s Mount Senior Lightweight race in 2015.

With over 200 entries, we have one lucky winner who correctly guessed the miles at 21.87.

Max Cook 30

We were lucky enough to have Max Cook, one of our fantastic sponsors, join us on the Devitt stand on Saturday. At only 13, Max is the youngest in the Moto3 BSB series riding for Replicast UK.

Max enjoyed the days entertainment, signing posters and chatting to other youngsters about how to get into motorcycling from a young age.

Stunt shows

Steve Colley wowed everyone with his impressive 30 minute stunt show 4 times a day. We were lucky enough to get involved in one element of the stunt show helping Colley get started on his stunt obstacle without a front wheel!

Wall of Death

It’s not a proper biking festival unless there’s a Wall of Death and this one was like nothing we’ve seen before. Only the bravest of stunt motorcycle riders tackle of the Wall of Death and they sure did impress us.

Shop til you drop

The mammoth autojumble and pop-up shops at the MCN Festival of Motorcycling were an impressive site with hundreds of retailers pitching up to sell quality goods at bargain prices.

Not forgetting the whole host of manufacturers and clubs that pitched up for the weekend with numerous test riders and trials for everyone to take part in!

We can’t wait to be back there next year for some more festival fun. For now, check out our gallery from the weekend!
