Car Insurance Required Information and Assumptions

• Full details of the make and model of your car
• The exact year your car was registered (not just the registration letter)
• The date of birth for all drivers
• The exact dates of any accidents, claims or losses (irrespective of vehicle type) within the last five years, for all drivers with details of costs and whether any such accident, claim or loss was settled as 'fault' or 'non fault'
• The exact dates of any convictions for all drivers together with conviction codes, penalties and details of any ban imposed
• If you wish to buy on-line and are transferring a no claim discount to this insurance you will be required to supply documentary proof to support the transfer.

Assumptions

• You and any additional driver hold a full UK Driving Licence, have permanently lived in the UK for the last three years and live at a permanent address within the UK
• The vehicle is owned and registered by you, kept at your home address, is a right hand drive model manufactured in the UK or has been/will be officially imported into the UK by the manufacturer, has not been modified in any way and is not kept on licensed premises.
• The vehicle will not be used for business purposes, other than for traveling to and from one permanent place of work.
• The vehicle is not a commercial vehicle or a motorised caravan and is not intended to seat more than eight people, including the driver.
• Neither you nor any additional driver have been advised by a doctor not to drive or have a disability/medical condition that needs to be disclosed to the DVLA.
• The vehicle is not used for private hire, competitions, rallies or any purpose in connection with the motor trade.
• Neither you nor any additional driver have ever been refused insurance or had special terms imposed on previous insurance policies, received any drink/drug related conviction, been convicted of a non-motoring offence in the last five years (e.g. theft, dishonesty, fraud) or have any notice of an intended motoring prosecution pending.
• Neither you nor any additional driver have a part-time occupation, whether or not this is in addition to a full-time occupation.
• You require a quote for one vehicle only.
