Devitt Brings Insurance With Attitude To The Nec Motorcycle Show 2005

Wednesday, 19 October 2005

Romford, October 17th 2005 – With some serious motorcycles to attract your attention, getting an insurance quote might not be top of your list of things to do at this year's International Motorcycle & Scooter show in Birmingham, which runs from 29th October to 6th November. Devitt, with a clear understanding of the average biker's psyche, are tempting visitors to their stand where they can obtain an insurance quote from the Devitt website. Not only that, their stand has a combination of torque and glamour as well as a cashback offer (subject to conditions).

Providing the glamour are promotion girls Carly and twins Margaretta and Maria; the torque comes in the form of a Yamaha MT-01 Torque-Sports motorcycle and the cashback offer is launched to coincide with the show. Visitors will have the chance to have a free photograph of themselves on the Yamaha, with the Devitt girls at the Devitt stand or they can choose to be photographed on their own motorcycle in the Motorcycle Park. Plus, from day one of the show, anyone going to www.devittinsurance.com to purchase a motorcycle insurance policy will also qualify for £20 cashback.

Martin Pretlove, Managing Director (at the time) of Devitt, says: "A show like this is about dreams – people come to see the motorcycles of the future, the motorcycles they would like to own. Insurance might not be exciting but it is an essential part of owning a motorcycle and we are offering visitors the chance to get on-the-spot quotes either for the motorcycles they already own or the ones they would like to buy."

Visitors that stop by the Devitt stand (T21 in Hall 6) will be able to get their online quotes at the Devitt stand during the show and they will also receive a free goodie bag.
