INSURANCE BROKER WELCOMES 15 PARTNERS TO 70TH ANNIVERSARY
Romford, September 26th 2006 – Seventy years
ago a leading specialist insurance broker made a commitment to motorcycle
dealers.
On 20 September Devitt, which has been promoting its services through
motorcycle dealerships since 1936, celebrated this platinum anniversary
by welcoming a group of 15 dealers to a special Dealer Open Day
at their Romford headquarters.
Together with a celebratory lunch, Devitt provided an exclusive
behind the scenes tour including an overview of the business by
department, giving the dealers the opportunity to understand how
the insurance needs of their customers are served.
Devitt’s Deputy Managing Director William Hughes said of
the big day, “Motorcycle dealers have been the lifeblood of
Devitt for 70 years, and we liken our relationship with dealers
very much to a strong marriage. Our relationships are very important
to us, so we wanted to celebrate our 70 year partnership with dealers
by providing them with an insight into the way we run our business.
The motorcycle market is rapidly changing so as well as celebrating
our past, we are also looking to the future. Consequently, this
day provided an ideal opportunity for both Devitt and dealers to
learn more about each other, so that we can maximise our relationship
for a long time to come.”
