ARE WE A NATION OF BIKING YODAS?
Romford 17th March 2006 - The world’s first
bikers’ colour personality test – showing whether individual
bikers have the masculine personality of Pierce Brosnan or the wise
maturity of Yoda – goes live on the new Devitt website today.
Devitt decided to add this to the website following a surge of
requests after national media coverage of its general survey of
bikers’ colours late last year.
The new online test
forms part of the leading motorbike insurance broker’s interactive
‘BikerZone’ at www.devittinsurance.com,
a section dedicated to bikers.
The BikerZone includes not only the colour personality test but
also top tips and articles, essential tools such as the HPI vehicle
check, valuation guide, competitions and current special offers.
Chris Bottle, Head of Marketing at Devitt, says that the new website
should prove very popular.
“We are re-launching our website to make it more user-friendly
and more targeted towards bikers,” he says.
“It can also be used as an extra resource for our existing
customers, with information about claims and customer services on
it.”
Regarding the online personality test, Chris explains:
“Each colour has slightly different implications: the colour
someone chooses for a bike indicates an attitude to biking itself;
while the colour of the leathers indicates an attitude to oneself.
So, if you would enjoy power, sophistication, luxury and glamour
– a Prince William of biking – look out for the gold
leathers and black bike.
“Then again, if you are looking for a nurturing walrus of
love who likes physical comfort, pleasure and sensuality, there
is always the pink biker on an orange machine.”
