LEGAL EXPENSES INSURANCE

KeyStart Excel Plus is a legal expenses insurance
policy supplied by MSL Legal Expenses Limited and tailored to assist
victims of road traffic accidents with their claims. If there are
reasonable prospects of success, your policy will help you to recover
your uninsured losses (e.g. compensation for injury, loss of earnings,
medical fees, policy excess, damage to personal effects, the cost
of a hire vehicle) from the negligent third party or their insurer.
Cover up to £100,000.
KeyStart Excel Plus provides
- up to £100,000 of legal costs and expenses in connection
with a claim against the negligent third party
- the cost of arranging a replacement vehicle
- up to £1,000 towards legal costs and expenses incurred
by the policyholder when defending a prosecution for a motoring
offence
- access to a 24-hour freephone helpline
- access to our panel of specialist solicitors
Your KeyStart Excel Plus policy will cover you
for:
- Replacement Vehicle: If you are involved in
a motor accident that is not your fault, MSL will keep you mobile
by arranging a hire vehicle suitable for your needs and we will
recover the cost directly from the negligent third party or their
insurer on your behalf. You are insured for these costs in the
unlikely event that you are unable to recover them. In the event
of a fault accident, theft or vandalism we will provide an appropriate
hire vehicle for a maximum of 21 days
- Loss of Earnings: If you are unable to work
as a result of the accident, with KeyStart Excel Plus
your losses can be included in your claim
- Motor Prosecution Defence: If, as an insured
driver, you need to appoint a solicitor to defend you in a particular
motor prosecution (other than a parking offence) - KeyStart
Excel Plus can assist
- Personal Injury Compensation: You are entitled
to compensation for injuries suffered by you or your passengers
as innocent victims of a road traffic accident
- Policy Excess: If you have paid a policy excess
as a result of a non-fault accident it can be recovered as part
of your claim
- Medical Fees: If you have been injured you
can recover reasonable medical costs incurred
- Legal Representation: With KeyStart
Excel Plus you have access to both MSL’s in-house
accident experts as well as a nationwide panel of solicitors who
specialise in road traffic accidents
