Professional indemnity (PI) insurance covers you in the event that
any party brings a claim against your business where you have provided
advice or services in a professional capacity. Professional indemnity
protects your business for:
- Negligence and breach of a duty of care
- Negligent misstatement or misrepresentation
- Infringement of intellectual property rights
- Cover is available for up to 37 professions, with up to five
staff in total. In most cases cover is available up to £1,000,000
limit of indemnity.
Public
liability insurance and employers'
liability insurance are available as options as well as property
contents insurance.
